If we make a tour to Borghese mansion, it will give you a complete idea about the history and heritage of Italy. It was built in between 1613 and 1614 and it was commissioned Fiaminio Ponzio. This place is worth for watching and even the entry fee for this mansion less.Colosseum is another favorite destination of every tourist of Rome because this is an ancient structure constructed hundreds of years back for an entertainment purpose. It was intended to encourage fights between gladiators and wild animals and it was built with bricks and clad of travertine. This is one such iconic place of Italy and perhaps it is an icon of this world. There is another place located bearby colosseum called palatino museum which is located in caesar’s place. This is a museum that is collected with monuments of Iron Age tombs. This place is pretty good tourist spot with spectacular monuments of the ancient period.
Making a visit to these historical places will definitely make you remind of something in your life by viewing the monumental structures of Rome and historical sightseeing of Rome. Perhaps, Italy is known for the best place for its ancient monumental structures which are constructed centuries back.
